We offer a wide range of pet grooming services for dogs and cats of all ages as well as breed specific treatments. These include:
Hydro Bathing with Medicated Shampoo
This treatment involves a Hydro Bath with PetWay Pet Care shampoo followed by a blow dry or towel dry (depending on your pet).
Hygiene bath and winter tidy up
A deep coat cleanse and de-shed of dead hair to keep your pet warm and comfortable throughout the winter.
De-shedding hydro bath and brush outs
An alternative treatment to clipping that is suited to double coated breeds. Involves a deep cleanse with specialised de-shedding shampoo followed by a blow dry to remove the dead undercoat.
Summer clipping
In the Summer months we offer a full clip. A full clip stays at a constant length across the entire body with a styled face leaving your dog cool and happy with the bonus of enjoying beach walks without your dog’s coat holding sand.
Puppy Grooming*
This treatment is a gentle introduction to grooming including washing, brushing and clipping. We recommend the earlier you start these the better.

Full nail clipping and tidy up for dogs of all ages.

Wiping and cleaning the eyes of build-up (aka doggy boogers)
Hand stripping
A specialised treatment suited to wire hair breeds that involves hand stripping of the dead coat. No clippers used.
ABOUT – Totally Dogs and Janet Goodwin
My Name is Janet Goodwin. I have been a Dog Groomer for the past 20 years. Within that 20 years I have been very much involved with dog health and welfare.
From 2006 to 2017 I ran the Wollongbar Dog Obedience School. I have also been a puppy Pre School teacher at the Alstonville Vet Clinic for the past 20 years and current.
My passion for dog grooming took off after owing mini schnauzers, Willy and Buddy where I began grooming my dogs for conformation dog shows. It has been 25 years now since I began travelling the country with my dogs to attend competitions.
During this time I started a mobile grooming business, ‘Janet Mobile Grooming’ which went on to become what is today ‘Totally Dogs’.
Totally Dogs is not just a grooming salon. It is dedicated to all things pet health, welfare and nutrition. There is nothing I enjoy more than supporting other dog owners to care for their dogs, sharing all I have learned over the years as a passionate dog lover, trainer and carer.
People often ask me why the salon is so busy?
The answer is because we aren’t just dog groomers. We genuinely care and enjoy what we do which is why our clients keep coming back.

I took my cat Simba to Totally Dogs for a trim and it was his first time at a pet groomer.
